Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to the questions we get most often.
What mouse-pad sizes do you produce?
Standard, extended (long, for keyboard and mouse) and laser-cut shapes. The most frequently ordered formats are 30×20 cm, 61×35 cm and 90×40 cm, but because we don't use cutting dies, a non-standard dimension incurs no tooling surcharge.
How does a gaming pad differ from an office one?
Mainly in size and the intended use of the surface - a gaming pad is larger, to accommodate mouse movement at low DPI, and more often has a uniform, predictable texture. An office one leans rather towards graphics and function. The material is the same in both cases: 2 mm natural rubber with an anti-slip base and a soft surface with a sharp print.
Does the pad edge need to be stitched?
No. Laser cutting gives a smooth, sealed edge that does not fray or delaminate - stitching is simply redundant in this technology. It is a more durable solution than classic thread stitching, because there is no seam that could wear through, discolour or come away from the material. The publisher Ornament Games chose a laser-cut edge for the playmats of the game “Chrono Fall” and after many games it showed no signs of wear.
Does an unusually shaped pad work just as well?
Yes, as long as the shape accounts for the mouse working area - and that is precisely the conversation we have before production. We have made, among others, a keyboard pad shaped like a guitar and a heart-shaped pad for a console. Our graphic studio prepares a visualisation before cutting, so you see the proportions and ergonomics before the physical piece exists.
Can I order mouse pads to sell in my own shop?
Yes - this is our OEM and private-label model: we produce, package to your brief and ship to you or directly to your customers. We add your labels, barcodes and packaging designed for your brand. You will find the details on the OEM and private label page.
Do the pads have safety certifications?
Our natural rubber mats are certified to EN 71-1, EN 71-2 and EN 71-3 - the European toy safety standard. That matters for an office product too: a pad has hours of skin contact, and EN 71-3 limits the migration of phthalates, PAHs, cadmium, lead and soluble heavy metals. We provide the test documentation on request.
